How do I use the pad for house training?
1. Introduce your dog to the pad.
2. Anticipate when they're likely to pee (soon after sleeping, playing or eating).
3. Take them to the pad to pee and reward them with a treat.
4. Repeat until your dog starts going to the pad by themselves.
5. If your goal is to teach your dog to pee outside, gradually move the pad outside until your dog starts going out by themselves. -
How often do I wash the pad?
We suggest a quick wash daily to keep the pad fresh. However, the washing frequency depends on usage and preference. Potty Buddy pads can be washed many times over.

How do I dry the pads?
The pads perform best if hang-dried. However, they can also be tumble-dried on a low setting if needed.

How many pads do I need?
Most of our customers typically get 2 or more pads so that they have a spare while the dirty one is being washed.

My dog raises their leg to pee. Will the pads work for them?

Absolutely! For leg raisers, we recommend getting a larger sized pad which you can affix partly against a wall using a little tape or adhesive clips (found at most large retailers). This will ensure the pad captures any pee that shoots above the floor.

How can my dog tell the difference between the pad and a carpet?
Potty Buddy's distinctive pattern and soft surface will make your dog naturally attracted to using it and will distinguish it from other mats and carpets in the house.

Can other pets like cats or rabbits use it?
Yes, the pee pad can be used by any pet.

Which size is right for me?
The medium blanket is great for small and medium dogs or if you only want to protect a small surface area such as a dog bed. The larger blanket is better suited for protecting your couch, bed or other larger surfaces.

Are both sides of the blanket waterproof?
The waterproof membrane is found in between the outer layers. This means that no liquid will seep through to the bottom, no matter which side of the blanket your pet is laying on.

How often do I wash the blanket?
We suggest machine-washing the blanket whenever it becomes soiled or dirty.

Is the blanket suitable for other pets like cats or rabbits?
Absolutely. The blanket is great for all living creatures, pet and human alike!

It's summer right now, will my pet get too hot on the blanket?
Our blanket is double-sided, with a cooler fleece fabric on one side, and a warmer sherpa fabric on the other. This design makes it great for any time of the year.

My pet has incontinence and is a heavy leaker, will this blanket absorb all of his pee?
Yes, the Potty Buddy™ Waterproof Blanket can absorb and trap large amounts of urine, or any other liquid without letting it seep through to the bottom.

What type of diaper is best for my dog?
Standard Diaper:

Skirt Diaper:

Ideal for: Urinary or bowl incontinence, heat, potty training
Belly Bands:
Male Dogs
Ideal for: Urinary incontinence, marking and potty training
Note For Male Dogs: If you wish to use a diaper for both urinary and bowl incontinence, a Belly Band and a Standard Diaper must be used together due to the anatomy of male dogs.

How many diapers do I need?
That depends on the use-type and frequency of soiling. Most dog owners get more than 3 diapers so that they have spare ones while the dirty ones are in the wash.

What if the diaper doesn't fit correctly?
No worries! We offer a 60 day guarantee on diapers (please review our returns policy). If the fit isn't right, we are happy to exchange the diapers, as long as they were not used.

How often should I change the diaper?
We recommend every few hours or when soiled.

Can I use the diapers on my cat or other pets?
Absolutely. If the size is right our diapers can be used on a wide variety of pets, like cats or even goats and pigs!

Where do you ship from?
Potty Buddy has distribution locations in the USA, Australia and Asia. We ship from the location nearest to you. For example, US orders are shipped from our US location.
On the rare occasion where your purchased item isn't available at the nearest location, we may ship it from another location which typically increases delivery time by a few days only.

Can I cancel my order?
We aim to ship items out as soon as possible after we receive an order. If you contact us within 12 hours of a purchase and we haven't shipped your item out, we can cancel the order and issue a full refund.
